“FISH” is a four-piece graphics series that symbolizes my reverence to the silent beauty of the fishes. The meticulously “knitted”, slippery surface of their skin, well-hidden in the underwater world, is truly majestic. But do the fishes realize their beauty? Do they take their presence for granted? Do they live as if it were their last day? Are they impatient as humans? Do they feel sad sometimes? Do they get jealous? Do they say “I love you” to their beloved ones? So many questions, so little answers. And you’ve got nothing else to do except to appreciate their beauty.
As Jacques Yves Cousteau once said: “The best way to observe a fish is to become a fish”.
METHOD AND MEDIA
Тechnique: “Digitally mastered ink on paper”
The technique used, namely “Digitally mastered ink on paper”. I initially drew the objects on paper with Fineliner pens with ink, and then perfected the artworks digitally.
